Behind Julia Camino and its roster of dazzling artists, you’ll find Maureen Vanden Berghe and Damien Aresta, now joined by Jeanne Cassiers.
Our main goal is to run an agency that is artistically brilliant and socially responsible 👍
We are committed to creating an environment where the musicians we partner with are treated with respect and can develop their careers in a way that doesn’t compromise their artistic integrity. We also want all our team, as well as others who work “behind the scenes,” to feel safe at work, be paid fairly, and get the support they need to develop their own talents.
As a part of the music industry, we have a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of harassment and discrimination, both on and off stage. This includes verbal abuse, physical violence, sexual harassment, and any disregard for consent.
We are also aiming to enhance representation for marginalized groups, including FINTA individuals, within the sector and hopefully be part of a wider change.
We are, in collaboration with other actors, launching a mental health support platform – DISCARE – for those working in music. This initiative includes research, tool development, workshops, and awareness campaigns. (We’re at the very beginning of this large-scale project and will tell you more about it shortly.)
If you need artistic direction consultancy or specific creations like videos, graphic works, texts, etc. to enhance your production, we should get in touch. Our previous creations will be available in our upcoming portfolio at Studio Camino.
The roster is full at the moment; we are NOT taking any new projects, but we might have a good alternative for self-managed artists very soon with Julia Academy.
