Nature of the Service
SocialBand/VousRevoir is not a payment intermediary.
The platform exclusively provides a technical tool allowing the generation and display of QR codes compliant with the EPC (European Payments Council) standard, containing bank transfer information provided by users.
What we do:
- Generate EPC QR codes from valid IBANs
- Display these codes on profiles
- Store technical parameters (suggested amounts for informational purposes, transfer messages)
What we do not do:
- Process, collect, or redistribute payments
- Hold or transfer funds
- Access bank transactions
- Charge commissions
- Provide financial, banking, or payment services
- Legally or fiscally qualify payments
Direct Payments
Transfers made via EPC QR codes are direct bank transactions between:
- The payer (donor)
- The beneficiary (artist, independent, organization, association, etc.)
SocialBand/VousRevoir does not intervene at any time in the execution or reception of funds.
Legal Compliance
Beneficiaries are required to comply with the legislation applicable to their activity, regardless of their legal form or status.
For Individuals
When the beneficiary is an individual not engaged in declared professional activity:
- Payments must be considered as voluntary contributions without compensation
- Local rules may apply regarding donations or occasional income
- Regular, high, or compensated payments may be reclassified as taxable income
It is the individual's responsibility to verify applicable legislation and comply with their legal obligations.
Beneficiary Responsibilities
By configuring a payment method via EPC QR code, the beneficiary acknowledges being solely responsible for:
- The accuracy and validity of banking information provided
- Account ownership
- Compliance with legal, tax, social, and accounting obligations
- Compliance of fund use with applicable legislation
The beneficiary acknowledges that payment information is made accessible via a QR code publicly displayed on their profile.
Payer Responsibilities
By making a transfer via an EPC QR code, the payer acknowledges:
- Acting on their own initiative
- Verifying the identity and status of the beneficiary
- Understanding that the platform does not guarantee the use or refund of funds
- Assuming full responsibility for the transaction made
No Commission
SocialBand/VousRevoir charges no commission on transfers initiated via EPC QR codes.
Any banking fees are exclusively those applied by the payer's banking institution.
Technical Verifications
The platform only performs minimal technical verifications:
- Valid IBAN format
- Basic consistency between user profile and information provided
Abuse Prevention
Strictly prohibited:
- Identity theft
- Fraud or scam
- Money laundering
- Financing illegal activities
- Fundraising for violent, hateful, or discriminatory activities
Any detected abuse may result in the removal of the payment method and suspension of the concerned account.
Limitation of Liability
SocialBand/VousRevoir cannot be held responsible for:
- Transfer errors or banking information
- Use of received funds
- Disputes between users
- Tax, legal, or financial consequences suffered by users
EPC Standard
Generated QR codes comply with the EPC (European Payments Council) standard.
Their compatibility depends on the banking institutions used by users.
Final Warning
The EPC QR system is a technical facilitation tool and not a payment service.
Using the service implies acceptance of:
- The direct and non-intermediated nature of transactions
- Individual responsibility of each user
- Applicable legal obligations according to status and jurisdiction
Using the system is done with full knowledge and under the exclusive responsibility of users.
